News Brief 30^th October 2008.

Week 42 of the lotto had a Jackpot of £400. The numbers drawn were 13-19-23. There was no winner this week although £50 was won by Paul Mc Laughlin. Next weeks Jackpot stands at £600. If you would like to join the lotto please see a member of the committee.

Thursdays Fundamentals in Gaelic are now changed. Under 8’s have Fundamentals at 6.00-7.00 and the Under 10's which consist of primary 5 & 6 are on at 7.00 - 8.00 in Glendermott Primary School. The event is open to all primary schools.
Parents are also advised that there are fundamentals from 3pm – 4pm on Tuesday’s afterschool for children in P5, 6 & 7. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your child some exercise on these cold nights while they gain new skills. Also it free!!
Participation in either fundamental class will ensure your child is eligible to play in competitions for Ardmore GFC. Contact Dolores or Michelle on michellekgmcl@talktalk.com and we’ll keep you posted.

We are hoping to get a team of coaches / managers for each team this year. This hopefully will encourage more people to put their names forward to coach as there is a lot of potential out there. If you are interested or if you were perhaps unhappy at how some teams were managed last year this is your opportunity to be part of a team and in the driving seat. So come along to the next meeting and let us hear your comments.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual dinner dance which will be held in The Drummond Hotel in Ballykelly on Saturday the 15^th of November. The cost of the ticket is £25 which includes the bus to and from the venue. Music will be provided and with this being the Clubs 70^th birthday it all gearing up to be a good night. It’s advisable to get your tickets early as there are limited spaces on the bus. See a member of the committee if you require a ticket alternately contact Joe Quinn.

Just to remind you of the amazing prizes, the first prize is £10,000, there is also four other money prizes. Tickets are limited to 300 and they cost £100 each. Week 41 of the lotto saw the Jackpot of £300 not being won. The numbers were 6-13-24. However £50 was won by Johnny Gormley. Week 42 was also not won the numbers were 16-18-21. This week the £50 won by Lisa Kelly
Next weeks Jackpot £600

Could anyone with lotto money, £100 ticket money, money from the night at the races or any other money due in get it to Emmett ASAP so it can be lodged before the end of the month for the end of year accounts. Anyone wishing to join the lotto please contact a member of the committee.

U-16’s are having a blitz at Templemore Sports Complex on Saturday the 1^st of November at 10am confirmation has to be in before by Fri. 31st October. Can all eligible players contact Clare Dooher or Eoin Mailey ASAP for details.

Finally Week 39 saw the amazing Jackpot of £2600 being won by PATRICIA QUINN. Her numbers were 11-16-19, congratulations Patricia. £50 won by Maura Cruickshank. Week 40 had a Jackpot of £200, numbers were 10-17-22
